Admission Informations
The application period for Department of Architecture Masters and Ph.D. Course entrance examination 2013 is

July 2nd (Mon) -- 10th (Tues), 2012.
1 Admission Information for International Students

The brochure uploaded below is a general guide for applicants with non-Japanese citizenship who have graduated (or will graduate) from non-Japanese universities, and would like to enter Department of Architecture, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo.

There are four programs in the graduate school:

  1. the postgraduate foreign research student(Kenkyusei) program
  2. the master's program
  3. the doctoral program
  4. the Special English Language Urban Design Architecture Course(master's program in English)

3 Entrance Exam Guide for Dept. of Architecture

Please contact the Graduate School Team and receive the official printed version of "Guide to Entrance Examination" to apply for the examination. The office is on the ground (1st) floor at Engineering Building #8.

For your information, the PDF version of the brochure is uploaded below. However, downloaded forms will not be accepted as formal application to the Master's and Doctoral Course.

    • 4 Briefing Sessions for Graduate School Entrance Examination

    The Department of Architecture, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo will hold the briefing session for prospective students of Masters and PhD Course 2013 to explain about the entrance examination and application procedures.

    The contents of the session can be found in the "Guide to Entrance Examination" and the Department of Architecture website.

    Please note that the session will be held in Japanese.

    Date & Time: June 14th(Thurs),2012,14:00～18:00
    Place: Lecture Room #15 of Engineering Building #1,
    University of Tokyo (Hongo Campus)
